 Dear WISPies, As some of you know, I've been dealing with the shocking news of the passing of a close friend from breast cancer this past weekend. The details aren't necessary but what I will say is that she was a beautiful, amazing, inspiring, athletic, strong, passionate and down-right funny woman. You would have all loved her. Ladies!! (forgive me for copying and pasting Simon's exact email...pressed for time and want to make sure this gets out there!!!) Who is up for a game of soccer next Wednesday night? It
won't be on a full field like on Sunday's but there are a whole bunch of free
small soccer fields at Cite Universitare which would be perfect for

Ladies, I urge you to please remember to RSVP--yes OR no. Coming on the heels of an awkward situation with our match scheduled against Rosa Bonheur, I am putting forth this reminder of the importance of RSVPing. We need to

Well, it was a cold (or should I say freezing?!) day on the pitch as WISP lined up against Rosa Bonheur. It had been a while since we played them but we were eager and happy at the chance for a re-match. The game was tough and RB continues to be an excellent team. We're on our way!! Thanks to the brilliant help of Veronica, we have
been able to get the ball rolling (haha) and submit all the paperwork
necessary to help WISP become "officially amateur" here in Paris!!!
We're so excited and look forward to sharing info as it comes in. This
paperwork required some changes, such as the creation of an Executive
Committee, rules and regulations, the selection of our team colours, etc., but we're hoping the benefits
