Some of you may remember this from last year!! If you are new, this is a large indoor tournament of women's soccer teams across Paris. The games are short and intense but LOTS of fun! We are looking to enter at least one team, if not two. The cost is €3 per player, but if you'd like to round up to €5 and make a small donation to the Club, we'd be delighted to put your money to use on balls, training gear, etc!! Fantastic turn-out last week ladies!! The uniforms looked AMAZING and I, for one, was proud of the excellent passing, communication and effort I saw on the pitch. Let's keep the momentum going! Well, it was a cold (or should I say freezing?!) day on the pitch as WISP lined up against Rosa Bonheur. It had been a while since we played them but we were eager and happy at the chance for a re-match. The game was tough and RB continues to be an excellent team. Ladies...WHAT a great drizzly day on the pitch!! We had our first match against the ladies of Salvador Allande and did we ever give them a run for their money. It's always inspiring to me when I see a team's manager absolutely losing it on the sidelines. That means we put pressure on and it definitely showed. First half--WISP scored 2 goals.
